COMMUNITY FOCUS
COMMUNITY EVENTS & MORALE
Members of the Community Focus are responsible for hosting the various events that fall under the realm of the focus. Being in this focus makes it one's duty to help the Nighthawk Imperium maintain a welcoming and friendly community. Additionally, it is our job to boost morale as well as activity within the group.
FOCUS
INTEGRATION FOCUS
ONBOARDING & NEW MEMBER INTEGRATION
The Integration Focus is responsible for ensuring new members of our community can navigate the process of using our systems, understanding our progression methods, and joining our community experiences to coalesce with Nighthawk society. This process begins by getting them into the Discord server, followed by helping them get verified.
FOCUS
IMPERIAL ARCHIVISTS
LORE, HISTORY & ARCHIVE MAINTENANCE
The Imperial Archivists serve as the knowledge keepers of the Imperium. They are responsible for maintaining the Imperial Library and recording significant moments that will be forever remembered in history. Their duties are not to be taken lightly as they are the very weavers of the Imperium's past, present, and future. Those who are accepted will have the chance to write and change the history of the Imperium with a single flick of a holoquill.

DIVISIONS DEPARTMENT
DIVISIONS OVERSIGHT & ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
Divisions Management serves as the managerial level of Divisions oversight, encompassing the Divisions Department, Divisions Colonels, and Divisions Commodores. Together they provide a capable support team that works in tandem with Divisions and Red Cell to perpetuate an environment that can achieve the strategic objectives of the Divisions Administrator.

// ARCHIVED RECORD — EXTERNAL AFFAIRS & ALLIANCES Diplomacy was an unusual department. It began as its own body handling external affairs with other communities, seeking out valuable alliances — including with Robine and the Nightfall Clan. It was later disbanded and folded into Warfare as a larger amalgamation; when TNI turned its focus inward those alliances were revoked, and the merged Warfare department was disbanded in turn.

// ARCHIVED RECORD — INTERNAL WARFARE COORDINATION & CERTIFICATION Warfare's purpose shifted with the eras. It began as what Commandos represents today — coordinating raids on other clans. When TNI turned its focus inward, Warfare pivoted to running internal 'warfare' events such as practice raids, and its members were the ones who certified Officers to host them. Once Commandos took over the raiding mantle, Warfare was disbanded.

// ARCHIVED RECORD — GROUP CONTRIBUTOR WELFARE & RETENTION Liaison began as a retention play — a way to renew a former Admiral's (Synoto's) interest in the Imperium and stave off his resignation, much like Integration would later emerge from the shutdown of Units. Its original purpose was narrow: promote Officer welfare through Officer-exclusive events and serve as the point of contact for Officers considering resignation. Synoto resigned anyway, and the department went quiet for a time. When it was revived, its purpose broadened well beyond Officer welfare, becoming a bridge between Divisions and Departments and the coordination layer that carried communication across those entities. In its final form, the Liaison Focus ran the Interactions and Engagement Team's Officer events (game nights, border patrols, music nights, movie nights), organized three departmental welfare teams (Officer Welfare, Sub-Officer Welfare, and Focus/Division Welfare), and answered to a Board of Colonels under the Chief Liaison Officer.

// ARCHIVED RECORD — UNIT ADMINISTRATION & INTER-UNIT ACCOUNTABILITY The Units Focus ensured each Unit remained functional, well-administered, and performing to its best ability — growing unit communities and increasing the quality and quantity of Unit events, tracking focus members' weekly quotas and objectives, recruiting Officers into Units, maintaining daily communication with Unit Directors, and sustaining overall Unit activity. Structurally it was an administrative department on a smaller scale than the Divisions Department, housing Unit Directors, Deputy Directors, Unit Colonels, and the Field Marshal. It coordinated Unit warfare between different bases, formally declared acts of war between Units, served as a third-party accountability system for judicial proceedings, and set the overall direction Units were expected to follow.

// ARCHIVED RECORD — TESTING TEAM & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT Development Focus's purpose varied across TNI's history, but in its longest-standing form it existed to lighten the load of the Development team by housing the Testing Team — members who hunted for bugs and took part in updates — while also building out the Venture Corporation's community side: sneak peeks, testing new content, and other community-facing development work.
| CC | COMPETENCY COMMITTEE | COMMITTEE | DECOMMISSIONED |
// ARCHIVED RECORD — OFFICER DISCIPLINE OVERSIGHT Created as a proactive initiative to catch punishments before they went unlogged or were logged invalidly, the Competency Committee — originally organized as a Progression Sub-Committee, later operating under Justice under the purview of the Supreme Judge and the Competency Magistrate — ensured Officers remained competent in their disciplinary actions. It cross-checked mute, border, and punishment logs to confirm every punishment was properly logged with evidence, judged punishments on fairness, detected cross-officer punishments, flagged misuse of administrative commands, and required members to submit weekly Officer Interaction Evaluations. It was overseen by the Competency Magistrate with a six-seat department, and served as a pathway into the Justice Committee.
